ANGELA

Our April read is The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter. Read as much or as little of it as you like or can and come along and share your thoughts over a glass of wine.

Much admired, Carter is undoubtedly a master of the short story and definitely our time. This recent piece in the Guardian about Carter by Susannah Clapp is very moving, and Salman Rushdie’s piece in the NY Times is also worth a read.
